








Joseph C. Cole, D. M. D.
Dr Joseph (Chris) Cole grew up in Ridgway, PA working for his father Dr. Joseph W. Cole, D. D. S. (Orthodontist). In 1973, Dr Chris received his B.S. degree from Allegheny College and his Dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977. Dr Chris completed a general practice residency at Tufts University in Boston, MA, and studied for two years at Boston University to earn his specialty license in Orthodontics in 1980. Dr Chris has also completed a mini orthodontic residency program at the University of Chapel Hill, in North Carolina.
To achieve board certification in Orthodontics, Dr Chris successfully passed a written American Board of Orthodontics examination in 1981 and presented pre, post and 2 year post treatment records of 15 patients he had treated to the American Board of Orthodontics expert panel of judges in St Louis, MO. He also provided accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for 2 patient’s records the board provided. Board certified status was awarded in 1989.
Dr Chris regularly participates in medical/dental mission trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic and leads groups of students on these trips.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Maureen, and four children. Dr Chris has coached soccer for over 22 years and has leadership responsibilities at his church.
Nathaniel W. Cole, D. M. D.
Dr Nathaniel (Nate) Cole, D. M. D. grew up in Ridgway, PA working for his father Dr. Joseph W. Cole, D. D. S. (Orthodontist). In 1980, Dr Nate received his B.S. degree from Westminster College in PA and his Dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. Dr Nate studied for two years at the University of Pittsburgh to earn his specialty license in Orthodontics in 1984. Dr Nate has also completed a mini orthodontic residency program at the University of Chapel Hill, NC.
To achieve Board Certification in Orthodontics, Dr Nate successfully passed a written American Board of Orthodontics examination in 1986, and presented pre, post and 2 year post treatment records of 10 patients he had treated to the American Board of Orthodontics expert panel of judges in St Louis, MO. He also provided accurate diagnosis and treatment plans for two patient’s records the board provided. Board certified status was awarded in 1998.
Dr Nate enjoys spending time with his wife, Candace, and two children. He has youth leadership responsibilities at his church in DuBois for twenty years. Dr Nate served on the Pennsylvania Association of Orthodontists Board for seven years serving as president in 2008. Running, handball, badminton and tennis are his hobbies.
